WinGS - Women in God's Service

If you are a part of our church family and a woman over 18 years of age, you are a Woman in God’s Service. "WinGS" represents our ladies' organization and coordination of efforts. In our day-to-day life, all of us can, and do, serve in many ways...some visible, some not so visible. Through communicating and combining our efforts we can be more effective for the LORD.

Our threefold ministry goals are as follows:
• Up-reach: Building and strengthening individuals’ personal relationships with God.
• In-reach: Strengthening the bonds of family here at the East Peoria church of Christ
• Outreach: Building and developing relationships with those outside the body, with the desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them.

There are many NEW and OLD areas of service that need you. There are many committees under the "WinGS" umbrella in which ladies can be involved – We have a Leadership Team working to help with the co-ordination efforts of WinGS. We meet every first Monday of the month. This meeting is open to all Women in God’s Service.

WinGS News

There will be NO week night meeting in September. The next week night meeting will be Monday, October 10th at 7PM.

The Fall Tea date is set for November 8th.

Our cookbooks are going fast! We have handed out around 250 to date and have received payment for almost half. If anyone has money to turn in please see Rhonda Breeden. We have less than 100 books left so if you would like to help sell or are interested in a book for yourself or gifts, don't wait until they are all gone!!
